[Resolved]  Birla Power Solutions Limited — Non payment of matured FD's

I have sent this complaint to Registrar of Companies which is self explainatory;

Non payment of Maturity amount of Fixed Deposits by companies
This is to bring to your notice that I had submitted my matured Fixed Deposit receipts for redemption and payment of the deposit maturity amount to the companies mentioned below—
1. Zenith Birla (India) Ltd ,Mumbai
FD R NO. 54302 Date of Maturity-12/5/13 Maturity amount Rs 29450/-
2. Birla Power Solutions Ltd ,Mumbai
F D R NO. 28911,Date of Maturity-10/5/13,Amount Rs 43358/-
In spite of repeated efforts to talk with the customer Care Departments of both the companies there is no response and any communications.
May I request your intervention to redeem and get the deposit amounts returned by these two companies both being managed by Adroit Financial Ltd Mumbai. Both companies are of Yash Birla Group.

Fixed Deposit — as mentioned below

Dear Sir,

Sub: F.D. NO.[protected][given by urn bank staff]
Ref : A/c no.[protected].

This is very strange to have such a bad experience by me on my first visit to your Lokhandwala-Kandivali [e] branch in Mumbai-400101 on 07.01.09.

In short, I have opened a Fixed Deposit of rupees one lac in my daughter Miss Divya Suri’s name on 04.12.08 in your above mentioned branch. After giving many phone calls and when there was no response from your sales person Mr. Yogendra Bind, I personally visited your above branch today and was astonished to know from your reception staff that my ORIGINAL RECFEIPT OF FD HAS BEEN MISPLACED BY COURIER AND PLEASE COME AFTER ONE WEEK TO COLLECT THE DUPLICATE . Sir, do you think this is this the correct reply? Why I should come 2nd time to just collect the receipt [ as your sales person has promised to deliver the original to our house [ which is just stone’s throw away from your bank ]. Secondly nobody from the branch has the courteously to even say SORRY for this thing and asking me to come after a week. I felt so bad I did not even ask for the manager’s name as everybody was looking at me [ from your bank’s staff but nobody has the guts to say sorry}. Lastly your reception staff asked me have I collected my bag?
Do you prefer to collect a simple bag or the ORIGINAL RECEIPT FIRST???.

I was only impressed by the well mannered security staff who greeted me with GOOD MORNING.

The above was just my life’s first experience in a reputed bank like yours suggest asking your staff to be courteous to their customer.
