[Resolved] Overnite Express — failure to comply to Overnite express PRIORITY delivery | |||
I had sent a Overnite Expess PRIORITY parcel to my friend in Delhi.The parcel was picked up by Mr. Venkatesh - NO. 269, 2ND CROSS, 3RD MAIN, CAMBRIDGE LAYOUT, SOMESHWARAPURAM, HALASURU BANGALORE - 560008 KARNATAKA on 14th Feb 2014 at 1:30 pm. Upon requested pleas for the parcel to be delivered the next day, he assured that it would be delivered to the address in Delhi. The AWB is [protected]. Upon calling Delhi office [[protected]] the next day -15th Feb 2014, around 3:00 pm. I was told that it was stored in the storage warehouse. If it was a PRIORITY PARCEL, it should have been delivered the moment it landed in Delhi and not stored in the storage warehouse. They said it would reach the addressee on Monday. Upon requesting, they said that it would be taken care of and then the telephones went on a 'busy mode'. The point of a PRIORITY parcel service was lost. I want stern action taken against the said company. Monetary refund does not suffice for the pain, agony and the loss of trust in company promising what they do not deliver. i do not know whether the Bangalore or the Delhi office goofed up, But a goo[censored]p was done. Playing with people's trust, belongings and time, is not to be tolerated. i hope that some action is taken against this company and I do not want to be added to the line of harassed consumers who have already filed complaints against Overnite Express.
