Pan Issue — how to track pan card misuse details

I have given the pan card copy as name proof for a new company which has just started. How to know if they misuse my pan card details and how to complain about them if anything happens. I can't reveal the company name publicly. So please let me know how to find if my details are safe or not and what further actions to be taken.
Also, tell me what documents are safe to provide for name and address proofs.
