Parag Sule — Stray dogs nuisance

Hello: The stray dogs in our residential complex have increased and the nuisance of their attacks and howling have increased. I live in Nirmal Lifestyle at Mulund (W) on LBS Marg. There are approximately 6--70 stray dogs.

On Sun (Nov 29th, 2020), a ### who has delivered pups recently bit my daughter in the evening. My daughter was taking her evening walk and this dog suddenly pounced on her leg and bit her. This is the 4th or 5th incident in our complex due to stray dogs.

Possible solution is to get these dogs sterilized so that they do not get fierceful. Also some residents keep feeding these dogs and this needs to stop. Majority members in the complex have objections to these stray dogs since its getting difficult for elders and children to move freely within the complex. In these days of Covid, its advisable to get the complex free for members to move and avoid public places. Hence request BMC to do the needful and take such dogs to veternary hospitals for treatments.
