Paras Hospital is a very reputed hospital in Gurugram. I was admitted there on 8th june for a Surgery under Gynae & obs department. My surgery was covered under my National Insurance, so my room tariff has to he upto ₹5000, but i wanted to upgrade my room category to single, which costed ₹7500 per day. At the time of Admission, me and my husband asked Mr. Rishit Thappar (admission staff from TPA) about the extra charges and he said that you will be charged only ₹1500 extra per day if you upgrade your room category.
He did not informed us about any hidden costs.
At the time of discharge, our bill increased by ₹70, 000 instead of ₹4500. It was so shocking for us. We went to admission head Mrs.Seema Vig, who further din’t helped us with anything. In fact, all the staff members misguided us and made us a fool making us rush here & there.
It was so disappointing as they could have mentioned all hidden cost or any other relevant charged at the time of admission only.
Please take the necessary action.
