Partridge — illegal modus operandi, biggest fraudsters and cheaters

I made the biggest mistake in my life to select partridge publishers from the website, without realizing what i was getting into. I was initially very happy that my book was going to be published under penguin brand from usa. However, partridge (Author solutions) have delegated all its work for india and adjoining countries to a philippine office, where the employees are the biggest crooks. I was sweet-talked by one anotoniete saints into paying in full for the book, and everything before that was a fairy tale. Once i made the payment, this unsaintly lady started playing tricks with me, lying repeatedly and bringing up newer and baseless reasons to postpone publishing and extort more money. When i finally gave up, she wrote to me that a whooping 28, 000 inr would be deducted from me, and i'll have to wait for 4 weeks to receive my payment. The biggest problem for me now is, i don't even have an address to write in philippines, and all my mail to us gets redirected to their den in philippine. I will lodge a fir with kolkata police and hope that i get my money back. My advice to all potential authors - please never opt for partridge. Their website promises all kinds of support, whereas in reality, you'll be left doing everything yourself, with repeated problems cropping up from them over time, just to sway you away from book publishing, so that they can make money out of the humongous penalties. They say something, and does exactly the opposite. Never trust those fraudsters and cheaters, or else, you'll suffer like me.
