Passport Office Patna — delay in passport reissue

Hi team,

Thanks to look for my complain.

My self anjani kumar writing this complain on behalf of my wife shilpi ranjana, she was applied to add spouse name in her passport on 26th/sep/2019 so as per process the current passport is canceled and new passport should be reissue but it is more than one month we are waiting for this but still it is showing the same status "passport application has been submitted along with applicable fees and supporting documents.", request you to look this case on priority it should not take more than one week but it took more than one month.

In notification you mention it is in a queue but it is there from last one and half month, is there any time line for this. Request you to provide the solution instead of simply sending predefined notification.
