complaint: No police enquiry yet.Ihave already visted S.P.Office and local police station but they told me that thave not received my police varifacation from THANE.

Please, kindly take some action regarding this.

MY NAME IS 'BABLOO BRIJMOHAN BERI' RESIDING AT-E/13-204, AMI PARK, NALASOPARA(WEST), DIST-THANE. PIN-401 203, MAHARASHTRA, I HAD SUBMITTED MY PASSPORT RENEWAL APPLICATION IN THANE PASSPORT OFFICE ON[protected] VIDE FILE NO- THN-V[protected]. ALONG WITH MY THREE FAMILY MEMBERS NEW PASSPORTS.

THE ALL THREE NEW PASSPORTS ARE RECEIVED BY ME IN THE 1ST WEEK OF AUG'08 NOW MORE THAN ONE YEAR PERIOD HAS ALREADY OVER BUT MY PASSPORT IS NOT RECEIVED BY ME TILL DATE .

WHENEVER I CHECKED STATUS OF MY PASSPORT THE MSG. "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time" APPEAR ON STATUS BOX. IN FEB'09 / MAR'09 AND APRIL'09 I HAD VISITED TO PASSPORT OFFICE THE OFFICER SAID THAT YOUR C.I.D. REPORT HAS NOT YET RECD. THEY ALSO TAKEN NEW P.P.P. FORM FROM ME IN FEB'09, AFTER A MONTH WHEN I AGAIN VISITED TO PASSPORT OFFICE THE OFFICER TOLD ME TO COLLECT THE C.I.D. REPORT DESPACHE NO. FROM THANE POLICE COMM. (RURAL) OFFICE. I HAD TAKEN THE SAME i.e.- CID NO-15230 DT[protected] AND SUBMITTED IN PASSPORT OFFICE ON SAME DAY BUT THEY HAD NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION ON THAT. AFTER ONE MONTH WHEN I CHECKED MY PASSPORT STATUS ON NET THEY CALL AGAIN TO MEET PASSPORT OFFICER, WHEN I VISITED TO THE PASSPORT THE OFFICER ONCE AGAIN TOLD ME THAT YOUR C.I.D. REPORT IS NOT YET RECEIVED.

I AM TOTALLY UPSET ABOUT THE PASSPORT OFFICE NEGLIGENCE, THE THINGS THEY ARE NOT TAKING ANY ACTION ARE :

1) WHEN I VISITED FIRST TIME THEY COLLECT NEW P.P.P.FORM FROM ME, WHY THE OFFICER NOT SEND THE SAME AGAIN FOR POLICE VERIFICATION ?

2) WHEN THEY SAID TO COLLECT THE C.I.D. DESPACHED NO. FROM THANE POLICE COMM. (RURAL) OFFICE AND SUBMIT THE SAME IN PASSPORT OFFICE, I DO THE SAME AND SUBMIT THE C.I.D. NO. TO PASSPORT OFFICE, BUT THE SAME REQUIRMENT STILL SHOWING PENDING WHY ?

I AM HEREBY REQUESTING TO THE PASSPORT OFFICE DEPARTMENT THAT PLEASE TAKE THE IMMEDIATE ACTION ON THE SAME COMPLAINT AND ISSUE ME MY PASSPORT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

I have applied for passport to Thane regional office. Till 5 May 09 the web site of thane passport office was showing status as police varification is not received ( up dated till 2 May09) .Since police varification was complete and they said they have forwarded to passport office, I checked on passport office Thane web site for latest status on 11 May 09. I now find that enquiry status is showing that" file is number (THN N004483) is either incorrect or information is not available". When the status will be shown on Passport Regional Office Thane about my passport? Till 5 May 09 was accepting the file number and showing the status. why now it is showing that file ref is in correct? What is the way to know the present status?

My Cusin applied fo passport in Thane 9 months before and after 3 months all verifications were over but still her passport is not delived as I try to contact with office central and state they give only the replay dat we will check, and send complints through mail, i replaied through so many mails and got only one replay that we are checking your problems.While she applied it said that passport will be deliverd in maximum 60 days of time but now 240 days are passed.
She went in the office 5 times but officials doest give a propper answer, says its usually happends in Mira road where she stays, it takes time.
She was supposed to go abrod for job last january 2009, bcoz of dis she lost the chance.i hope this will read by officials and a positive replay will be given, passport will be deliverd soon, File Num is THN N 016624.

I have applied for the passport on 5th February, 2009, in the Regional Passport Office Thane (Maharashtra), under the receipt no.THN 680331 dated 5th February 2009 in the name of PRATEEK RAMSHANKAR NIRMAL

My file no. is N001945, key no. [protected] THANE RURAL.

My police verification was completed on 4th March 2009 from Manickpur Police Station Vasai Road (W) Dist Thane-401202 Maharashtra.
Till date I have not yet received my passport nor any communication in this regard from the concerned department.

My Police Verification is completed Approx between 18th - 20th Mar, 2009 at Nashik but still I don’t know Status of my Application. The website has not updated my record yet..

Please, kindly take some action regarding this.

I have applied for passport on 27th Jun 2008. My Police Verification is completed on 3rd Jan 2009 still I don’t know Status of my Application. Thane Regional Passport Officer is really very lazy... Even they don’t update the Website (Passport Status Page) it was last updated on 21 Jan 2009. It is really shameful for Indian government and thane passport office. They are assuring that we will get passport within 45 days but as in my case 7 month is already gone and still I don’t know the status.

Even I don’t aspect any action from this portal but want to convey message that S. Y. Chavan chief officer of thane regional is a very Lazy and irresponsible. One example is here ... On 26 DECEBMER 2008 whole India were working all the government office were open and his staff was on holyday (celebration BOXING DAY).

If anyone cans here me Please help me.

I have applied for my Mother-in-law's passport on 02/09/2008 at Alibagh, Raigad District with receipt number 057232. After police varification it was registered in Thane Passport Office File#Z[protected] on 23/09/2008. I have regularly checking online with http://passportstatus.nic.in/passmain.php?city=thn but status is same from last 2 months and message is "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". Now it has crossed 5months and still passport is not reached or nothing intimated us about delay.

Passport Query Reg: File Ref. No-N01089008 of SABIR SHARFUDDIN MODAK

Five months have passed since the Application date (15/07/08). The local police station states the report was sent on 30/11/08, but it still hasn't been recd at the passport office. The local police station's DSB no. is 16764 and the reference for the report sent is '8054', file no. 5570.

Please look into this at the earliest. I need a passport to apply for jobs.

Application for issuance of new passport in lieu of damaged one in Tatkal service was submitted on 05/10/06, i.e more than 2 years back. But till date neither the fresh passport has been issued to the undersigned nor any communication has been received from passport office except a CC letter dated 02/03/07 which was addressed to DCP Navi Mumbai. The letter was sent as a Reminder for police Report. On receipt of the letter i had approached the police authorities but no luck.

Complaint for non receipt was lodged on the passport griveance site on 23/10/07 and an email was also sent on the same day to [protected]@nic.in for which till date no reply has been received. Again on 16/01/08 complaint was lodged and this time the mail was sent to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in, [protected]@nic.in, grv.[protected]@mea.gov.in, [protected]@mea.gov.in and to mention that i have not heard a word from any of the above till date (all these mail IDs are available on the website of passport office).

Further to my surprise when i checked the current position of the application again on the site the STATUS is shown as " APPLICATION HAS BEEN CLOSED. PLEASE REAPPLY QUOTING EARLIER FILE NUMBER OR CONTACT PRO".

I just do not understand-
1)Why the authorities had to wait for two long years to close the application if there was any problem?
2) Why no communication was sent to me if any further clarification was required?
3) Why no police report was put up?
4) Why n number of mail IDs are given on the website of Passport office wherein none of them is bothered to reply just a word?
5) Why no letter has been sent to me giving the facts about the closure of the case?

You are requested to please provide me with full information.

Please refer to application for renewal of my wife's passport from CBD Belapur (Navi Mumbai) through Thane (Maharashtra) passport Office.

The file number is THN-Z422187. Police enquiry was completed on 15th May 2008. I am an expat and my wife needs to travel to my company of residence (Qatar). Every week I check into online info and am given to understand that her passport will be sent within a week.

Please arrnage to locate the passport and despatch it immediately.
