I will like to report a case which happened today with me where the fraudster presented themselves as MXTAKATAK representative and took my 20, 000/- from paytm wallet my paytm orderid is [protected] dated 25th April 2022
time 2:39 PM wallet ref no [protected]
payment was credited to Paupayments private limited but unable to track the name of account holder his phone number through which he contacted me is [protected]

Updated by nitiniips These fraudster are saying that they will be sending some gifts from MXTAKATAK team and than say that they will actually send money since one fo the gift items was not available and so ask you all details of paytm account and than fraudently map their payu account to my paytm account and took my money ...saying it will come back and asked me to transfer more to check if money is getting credited and debited correctly ...soon i realised that i was cheated, i tried complaining to payu site but their is no easy way to take help in payu website for reporting fraud by their users

PayUMoney Customer Care's response Hi, we are really sorry about this and totally understand your concern over here. We'd suggest you to raise this immediately to the Cyber Cell office and they shall assist you further. Please note, that all transactions processed through PayU payment gateway are processed with a Two-factor authentication mechanism. All the transaction/s are processed only after the 2nd-factor confirmation like OTP/PIN/Online password from the customer’s end. Also, there is very less probability of stopping/reversing such transactions. Never share your card number, CVV, PIN, OTP, Internet Banking User ID & Password and UPI details with anyone via any means. Sharing these details can lead to unauthorized access to your account and PayU will not be liable for any loss arising due to any such unauthorized transaction/s. In this unforeseen situation if you need the details of the transaction/s or want this to be investigated further, please raise your query to the nearest Cyber cell office and they shall facilitate you on the further process.
