[Resolved]  PayUMoney — payment failed for irctc transaction on 30 sep 17

Transaction remarks amount

Vin/www irctc c/[protected]/0 rs. 466.17
Vin/www irctc c/[protected]/0 rs. 270.68

Irctc failed transaction reference

[protected] rs. 465
[protected] rs. 270

While booking train tickets through payumoney gateway on irctc website using icici bank visa debit card, the above 2 transactions failed. While money was deducted from my bank account tickets were not booked.

Also irctc website is displaying these two as failed transactions.

The money is not refunded yet and i am not able to decide whether i can go ahead for re-booking the tickets.

I don't want to book the same tickets twice and end up cancelling one.

Request to guide me on :
A) whether the money will be refunded or will the tickets be issued?
B) by when will the refund actually take place?

The comments you have posted seems to be standard comment to ward off customers. How can you not have details of transaction getting through your gateway? The trabsaction nos. are from irctc & icicibank websites.

However, I am giving below additional information which might help.

I used the payumoney getway on irctc website and did not use the payumoney login for the transaction.

However I had already created a ticket on your portal using my email id ([protected]@gmail.com) on the same day (02 Oct 17)

Similar issues with me as well.

I am still awaiting the refund for 3 of my txns.
1. IRCTC ticket Cancelled on 29/9/2017
2. IRCTC ticket Cancelled on 30/9/2017
3. IRCTC failed txn on 1/10/2017

There were other cancellations done, where tickets were booked using paytm gateway, on the 1/10/2017, for which the refund has been credited back to my ICICI CC.

But for the txns where I used payu gateway for payment, the refund has still not been credited, even though the IRCTC website says that the amount has been refunded.

Guess, I will avoid using the payu gateway for any txn going forward.
