PCMC — health issues due to water accumulating nearby society - royale rahadki greens, rahatni

This is neha gulhane residing at royale rahadki greens, phase 1, rahatni, pune-411017. Just wanted to highlight the issue we are facing due to water clogging nearby our society building. The builder of adjacent construction site "royal mystic" is passing all the water from the site through the channel and that water is accumulating nearby our society wall.

There have been umpteen number of cases of dengue across pune during the past couple months. Unfortunately, we understand that you also bore the brunt of a couple of such cases in your own family.

The attached photographs taken this morning by me residing at royale rahadki greens, rahatni, pune shows large accumulation of water at neighborhood construction site, located in between our society and royal mystic (Construction site going on). It is needless to say that the accumulated water has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

For your kind information, few members of our society are down with dengue.

Request you to instruct your officers to direct the developer clear the accumulated water from the construction site immediately and ensure that necessary action is initiated against the developer concerned for exposing the people within their own society.

Updated by Neha Deshkar Thanks for looking into this matter.

However as I could see, half of the portion of accumulated water is now covered with sand by the builder but half is still pending. Also the water is flowing continuously through the channel and flowing towards our society wall and so the sand is getting all wet. This might increase the water level and the same situation may arise.
Request you to provide instructions to the builder to make permanent arrangements for the water flowing so that the nearby societies won't be affected.
