Due to low internet connectivity, the travel agent manually gave the ticket details. We booked the ticket for the bus which was Supposed to depart at 10:30 in the night as written by the agent. Following are the details provided by the agent on the receipt:
Head office: Sachin Tours & Travels, Chinchwad, Pune 33
Issue Date: 21/3/17
Journey: Pune to Belgavi
Tour Date: 22/3/17
Travels Name: Telsang
Departure Time: 10:30
Ticket: Rs. 700
We reported the place on 22nd March 15 mins before departure time as usual.
Following are the complaints about this incidence and about the travel agency that messed up everything and blamed the customer instead.
1) The experience till the date was the bus always comes in time or after the time of departure that is mentioned. Obviously, we did wait for the bus to come till 10:30 and then when bus did not appear, we enquired the agent. - He said that 'The bus departed at 09:30 and there is no bus at 10:30 for Belgavi. It's your mistake that you didn't ask us about the bus when you reported here. Now we can't return the money back as well as we can't give you a ticket of another bus.'
2) Generally the rule is that, if ticket is confirmed the agent sends message on the registered mobile number. - This was not done by the agent. We didn't get any message for this booking.
3) Even if the agent fails to send message, they call you if you are not on the place when the bus arrives. - The agent was supposed to call us at 09:30 if he has booked the ticket (after receiving the full payment and giving the manually written ticket to the customer); the agent did not call.
We just want our money back from the agency as the mistake was totally theirs. But the agency is refusing to do so by saying, 'Tumchi chuk kay, amchi chuk kay, kashala chuka shodhat basaycha, sodun dya'.
