[Resolved]  Peachmode — bad refund policy / product not shipped even after 18 days

I had placed a big order with Peachmode in March. Received all the items, was happy with 3 of them, didn't like the color & material of 1 as it was different than the picture. Returned the product & received store credit. I called up customer care & argued that refund the amount as I am not returning all the items, just one. I was told that they don't refund, but give store credit. In June, I ordered 2 items, just to finish off some of the store credit. I was not satisfied with both but just because of their weird return policy, didn't return those. I had some more store credit, decided to buy 1 more item & had to pay a little amount, since my store credit was not enough. This order was cancelled & I wasn't even informed. Only when I logged in after a couple of weeks did I come to know it's cancelled. I tried again, & placed one more order, had to pay more amount in addition to the balance store credit. It's been 21 days, the item is still not in transit. I've called up thrice, they won't return the money but give me store credit. This store credit has become like a haunting ghost now!

I received a mail that Rs. 648 will be refunded. What about the balance Rs. 251? I'd used that from my store credit. That means I've made the payment of Rs. 251 long back. So effectively I should get a return of Rs. 899.
I thought of settling it directly with peachmode so mailed them regarding the same. I got a reply that they'd give the store credit of Rs. 251. Why don't you return the entire amount and set the customer free? Why do you want to keep that store credit?
