An order was placed on pepperfry for storage containers Order id:[protected] Order date: 25 september 2017 Expected delivery was oct 6 - mon, oct 9th The product was delivered on oct 4th, as the quality of the product is very cheap & not as described\expected. Also the dimensions are very tiny and those containers are of no use and not worth the price mentioned on pepperfry in comparison to the quality of the product. On the same day itself i tried returning the product on the website, but the status was not updated as delivered, hence return option was disabled. Although couple of days passed the delivery status was still shown as will be delivered by 9th oct on website, with return option disabled. On oct 9th a complaint was raised with pepperfry customer care (Screenshot attched). On 10th oct received a reply that "we acknowledge your interaction and have raised a case for your order:[protected], for all time polka red rectangle storage container - set of 42. The case reference number is wr[protected]. Our customer support team will revert within 24-48 hours." and they are refusing to refund now. I have sent an escalation request as well, but its of no use. Now the team have backdated and updated the website that product was delivered on oct 4th & since its been 2 weeks the return option is disabled stating that the time span to return the item has elapsed. This is intentional foul marketing to sell cheap products & fool customers. for the following reasons: Damage / dead on arrival, Manufacturing defect/Expired product & In-correct product. The time frame starts from date the product was delivered as per the confirmation received from our logistics team or courier partners. The refund amount will be equal to the Paid amount for an item.
I quoted that the product is incorrect & cheap quality than expected. and the time frame was lapsed as they had not enabled return option on the website.
But they have denied return of the product. Hence i need strict action to be taken to the fraudsters pepperfry.com who are cheating customers
