I would like to express my grievance towards Pepperfry.com.
I had ordered a “Prose Book Shelf in Brown Matte Finish by Wakefit” along with 2 other products on 14th December 2021. It was delivered to me on 23rd December 2021. The status on my Pepperfry account for this order no.[protected] shows the following:-
Shipped on 21st December 2021
Out for Delivery 28th December 2021
Delivered on 28th December 2021
Firstly, the above information mentioned on my account is wrong.
When I received the order, I saw that 1 shelf is damaged. The carpenters who came to assemble the product from Wakefit told us verbally that the shelf will be replaced in 2-3 days. We waited for 2-3 days, then I contacted an agent on Pepperfry via chat. I was again told to wait for 2-3 days.
I called Pepperfry after 2-3 days and was told that a complaint will be logged and they will contact me after 2-3 days. They also told me to send a complaint on [protected]@pepperfry.com along with photos of the damages which I did.
After waiting for another 2-3 days, I got a call from them on 1st January 2022 and they told me that a replacement request has been placed and I will get the product within 7 days on 7th January 2022.
I got a call from a staff from Wakefit on 6th January 2022 who told me that the bookshelf will be delivered the next day on 7th January 2022. I waited the entire day but did not get a call from them.
I got a call on 8th January 2022 from Pepperfry from my case manager Godson to confirm that the product was delivered on 7th January 2022 but I told him that I didn’t receive it.
I am totally frustrated with the service of Pepperfry for my order this time. I am not sure if it is sheer negligence from the part of Pepperfry or Wakefit but it seems like they are just testing my patience.
I am looking forward to appropriate action to be taken by your good office to get my product replaced at the earliest.
