[Resolved]  Pepperfry — delivers damaged & defective product and then reluctant to support.

Ref. order ID[protected] dated Oct 28, bought a Solid Wood King Size bed which got delivered on Nov 17. Got below issues in product;
1. Broken Part
2. Missing Piece
3. Unpolished pieces
4. Uneven Planks
5. Tilted Fitting

During assembly, the carpenter himself declared that this can not be assembled. He de-assembled the bed and reported the same online.

The blunder starts here.

Nov 17 night itself - I also reported the Issue via Customer Care, via online and via mail to [protected]@pepperfry.com. At one time, CC guy even mentions that assembly is reported successful while carpenter has reported Non-repairable infront of me and sharing the snapshot also.

I was promised on mail to have a response in 12 hours (on call in 24 hours)

No Update in 36 hours. Not a single call.

I had called up customer care 4 times ( two times Nov 17 night, 1 on Nov 18 morning, 1 on Nov 19 evening) Finally, got a call on Nov 19 at 7:20pm when I been rude to them on Nov 19 call. Even then, executive didnot took up the issue well to resolve it rather she disconnected while i was explaining the feedabck and my pain.

No One in pepperfry team is willing to support.

It is a complete financial as well as mental harassment . As I have disposed of my old bed after getting the confirmation of delivery of bed. Now, this defective bed is lying un-assembled at my place. Very shameful situation for me infront of the guests I have invited and are at my home currently. And at the same time, even pepperfry team is not willing to act and support. Giving false statements at many times.

I have taken two items in this order. A cabinet along with Bed and wanted to return both these items. I am also willing to sue pepperfry for a legal case for harassment which I am going thorugh and going to have for next 2-3 weeks because of this situation which has happened due to pepperfry.

Pls help.
