[Resolved]  Pepperfry — Despite full payment no product is delivered even after 3 months

I have purchased 2 sets of 2 seater recliner from Pepperfry on 17th March 2016 order no[protected]FN1463128-P-OD1381.
I have done full payment Rs 52000 while placing the order.
On 6th April 2016, upon not finding any update since 26th March on order I called customer care to find out status.
I have been told that the product is ready for dispatch but address is not correct, need to update the address. Hence I updated the address.
On 7the April I received call from customer care that the product is out of stock and I should cancel the order.
But the fact that there is no cancel order option on pepperfry site.
you can not cancel any order unless you receive it once and have some issue.
On 9th April I received one more call saying what is nearest landmark as shipment has arrived Pune hub. So informed same to customer executive.
The customer executive told me that it will be delivered on Sunday 10th April, confirmed time of delivery too.
No delivery on Sunday 10th April.
Hence called pepperfry again on Monday 11th April. Where I have been told that the product has not passed quality checks and can not be delivered.
Wondering how quality check failed after reaching delivery hub.
After so much delay. I escalated this to branch manager on 17th April.
Again I got the standard answer that there some confusion with product however my set is ready to be shipped( Really god help us!!!)
I received email from Mr Dazel.d for apologies caused and they will track this issue.
By this time I have lost hope of getting it.
A friend of mine suggested to escalate it to CEO of pepperfry, so I have fwded email received by Mr Dazel.d to all CEOs of Pepperfry.
To my surprise I got call from CEO office to checkout what happened.
The smart guy at CEO office convinced to not to worry anymore and case is getting handled with high priority( Well I am writing this complaint on 22nd June still I have not received my complete order :( )
And then again email and phone call started.
This time the smart guy said that the material of original product and not good I should select another one or cancel the order.
He will give me all refund along with some cash discount for which I can buy anything from pepperfry.
Why should I spend 52000 on something I don’t need, so refused the proposal.
So Mr smart guy again started to fulfill the order.
On 23rd April, I received email with material details and colours, so selected one from them.
By 27th April I received update that Vendor is preparing product and this will be delivered on priority with no date mentioned.
By 3rd May no product delivered.
Again I asked for update and received no reply.
On one fine day 12th May I received msg saying your shipment of recliner has reached Pune hub and will be delivered shortly.
Wow!... Finally got some hope that ok I am getting my product!.
On 15th May received call from Area sales manager of Mumbai saying he will come personally to deliver the product and came too.
The crew(yes crews!!! All dressed in pepperfry black tees saying "Happy furniture to you" on back with white gloves!!!) with sales managers arrived at my home.
Helped to get the product unpacked.
While placing recliners on its place we noticed the torn fabric for one of the recliner. Bingo!!! :(
The sales guy again apologized for damage and took back 1 piece.
Again I started followup with MR smart guy from CEO office.

Till now I have done so many followups. The smart guy each time assures me that I will get my product.
Do they really understand the meaning of promise, priority and assurance.
P.S. This write is reviewed by Mr. Smart guy personally.!!!
