Pepperfry — Dining table | |||||
I ordered a dining table from pepperfry on 17 th August. The delivery date promised was 27 th August. After seeing the online status I started following up from 22 nd August. The customer service team had no updates or clue on the whereabouts of the table. This story went on and on and on, i asked for escalation. Never got a call back from the manager. About Three weeks ago i get a call saying that the product is damaged and they are refunding the money. I was totally pissed off. Next day I get a call stating my product is ready at the warehouse and has been checked and they are shipping it in a day's time. It will be delivered to my address in a week's time and they promised to refund Rs 2000 for all the trouble. I was surprised by this gesture and was waiting eagerly for my table. After many follow ups, the executive tells me that the product is damaged, they will be refunding my money ASAP. My money was stuck with pepperfry for more than two months, i have spent at least 250-300 Rs on phone bills and wasted so much time. Please take my advice and do not buy from pepperfry.
