Pepperfry — I am not able to cancel my order

I have placed an order in pepperfry some hours ago today. After less than a hour i realised that the order was placed under a different name. I have sent an email to the team asking to either cancel the order or update the name in the invoice, that is when i got to know that there is no way to do either of this. I wanted the order in my name to submit it for reimbursement. Now how should i proceed. Please advise.

Pepperfry Customer Care's response Dear Mridusmita, we are a marketplace company and we provide our merchants a platform to sell their products. Hence, we do not accept cancellation once the order is placed.

Updated by Mridusmita Deka Then please update the name in the invoice, I am sure it is not generated yet. There might be many scenarios like this and there should be some way to tackle this. You cannot simply say we do not accept cancellation. If any updates to the order cannot be made, there is no need of customer care i believe.Please do the needful. I cannot simply waste my money like this.

Updated by Mridusmita Deka There should be some communication that happens with the vendor, kindly inform them to update the name in the invoice. I do not need to cancel the order if you update the name in the invoice. Hope things are more clear now. Awaiting a response.

Are you people not getting it that I do not want the order either cancel it or update the name in billing address. Just telling about your policies does not solve my problem.
