Pepperfry — issue in broken product return and rude customer service

I ordered a wall clock and they delivered a broken item.
After delivery of product, the website did not allow me to initiate return for 5 days saying the product is not delivered yet. The next two days i was traveling and when i came from travel on 8th day it says my return window is closed. So, basically they just gave me 2 days as return window. Then why they mentioned 7 days as return window as their website?
And when i called the customer service, the guy on the phone is extremely rude and impolite in answering my questions and he disconnected my call in between. Horrible experience!!
