[Resolved]  Pepperfry — ORDER ID[protected]. Refund. Feel Cheated by Pepperfry.

Here is a brief about how utterly disappointing my experience with Pepperfry support has been, who are denying me a just cancellation and refund of a painting I purchased on the 15th July 2021.

After I had purchased this product it was mentioned that it comes with a "Pack Content: LED frame with adapter". So I called the Pepperfry support on 17th July 2021 to confirm that, "if the canvas is stretched over the frame". And I have categorically mentioned on the call that though I have already paid for this product, I need this information in order to decide if this product is exactly what I am looking for. And I can purchase another product with a frame if need be. I was promised by the support staff that I will get a reply within 24 Hours.

Now the product was dispatched on 20th July 2021.
I get a reply from the support today i.e. 21st July 2021 and they tell me that the product does not even come with a frame nor adapter.
When I go back to the website/app to check the product details I see that the details have been changed now to "Pack Content: 1 Art Print".
The support now is either lying that this is what was written on the product info at the time of purchase or it is a deliberate attempt to avoid a refund.
1. Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot of the product info when I purchase because I never thought I would ever need that for a brand like Pepperfry. I am an online buyer and never had an issue with big brands.
2. I trusted Pepperfry and paid upfront and trusted the easy return policy (which seems now to be just a sales pitch). But I never imagined that you can change the product info just to avoid a refund.
3. Instead of investigating the issue the attitude of the Pepperfry support is that to protect the seller than a paying-in-advance customer? Instead of trying to retain a customer and expecting repeat business, do you want to just make Rs. 3298?
4. The product info also said there is "Assembly Installation available" which is also another reason for purchasing. Now the support tells me that I have to get this framed in 3rd party local store myself.

If you investigate I am 100% sure that you will find the product details changed after my query was raised. Unless the system doesn't log changes. Some proof of the product details is in the call I made on the 17th of July 2021 when I enquired about the frame mentioned and the support person was not even aware that there was no frame.

Request you to investigate the matter and do what is just and return/refund me the money I have paid in advance.
