[Resolved] Pepperfry — order no[protected] trundle bed | |||||
The above captioned order no. Initial delivery promised between nov 25 to nov 29... Than arbitrarily changed to 2nd dec. On 2nd morning i get a tracking e mail which says the delivery shall happened by nov 29th??? Making a mockery of themselves and my self. Till 2pm on 2nd dec the call centre advisors maintain that delivery shall definately happen by day end. At 7 pm on 2nd dec they shall it will take 3/4 more days. After an half an hour of dialogue and multiple holds am thrown a compensation packet of 10 % refund on order price if i accept the delivery after 3/4 days as if we are beggars having paid 20k in advance before 14 days and all we are interested in begging discounts. Utterly disgusting when the executives think that they can buy ethics and principals over some tossed coins... I categorically told them that i have guests at my place whose hotel bill i have to foot since the product (Trundle bed) did not get delivered on time or in extended time too... Today morning another lady calls up, saying stop complaining ur product shall be delivered by 9th dec... Are they illiterate or i am since 4 days from 2nd ends on 6th dec but she maintains that "sir u are so stupid and illiterate" my colleague meant 4 working days... Makes u feel a complete fool inspite of all the education and values u had!!! The website does have grievance officer name but refuses number nor does stubborn managers at back end opt to give... And the company on its website talks of ethics, diversity and transparency... Since i have paid and i have waited for 15 days i have no choice but to further wait till the lords at pepperfry choose to deliver and assemble the product at my place... I have paid, if a i cancel i have to order new and wait for 20 more days... It feels so lousy to believe in their value system and buy from them. The website grievance part does not work... Calls cant be transferred to seniors since they are busy in meetings??? Meetings how to fleece customers and use their money?
