[Resolved] Pepperfry — Pepperfry is denying to take back an item, for which they had given wrong product description online.. | |||
Pepperfry has started cheating people openly. Recently we purchased a blackout curtain (Theatre darkness was a key requirement), after seeking assistance from pepperfry customer care. We had clearly told them our requirement and asked them to advice us on the kind of description we should be looking for, while on our search for the right product. Accordindly, we invested in a lushomes blackout door curtain (Set of 2) on 17th feb 2017. The order number was[protected]. When we received the item on 27th feb 2017, we noticed that there was no blackout lining at the back of the curtain and hence, the effect was nothing different from a normal curtain i. E. Light was passing through. When we complained, we were told that its not 100% blackout but normal blackout (!!!???). My question here is, how is that a blackout when there is no lining at the back of the curtain!?! It is a single sheet, ordinary curtain, though the online description clearly stated otherwise. Even after repeated complaints within the initial 7 days post delivery, customer care said nothing can be done. We felt extremely cheated and hence, wanted to warn all our friends and fellow buyers about these cheats. Breach of trust will ruin your business for sure and we will share this story across our personal and professional network, so that people think million times before ordering!! I have ordered 2 wardrobes against Order No[protected]. These products havent been delivered. I wanted to cancel the Order but the Call Centre refused to take cancellation.
