Pepperfry — pepperfry is not cancelling my order

I want to cancel an order i placed on pepperfry, called up customer care, they refused, sent a mail got this reply

With regards to your complaint regarding the cancellation for the Order #[protected], unfortunately we regret to inform you that once the order is placed on the website the order cannot be canceled. Hence we won't be able to accept your concern & would request you to check the policy once again on the website.
