Its painful to even explain my bitter experience with Pepperfry.
On 12th Feb i got delivered a twin marble top centre table with golden frame. As soon as it got opened i noticed the smaller marble circle is complete white with no pattern and bigger marble circle has the patterns. The deal was showing on website to sell both patterned marble tops. This is first failure point - MIS SOLD / INCORRECT PRODUCT SOLD. Straightaway i called customer service, chatted with them and uploaded clear pictures and a case manager promised to talk to supplier to replace it. if not refund the entire amount.
Then later that day i realized there is some discolored or rusty paint that does not look good so i reported the same to pepperfry customer service the same day. and i was assured that the case manager 'Bhibuthi' will get back to me. Since 12th Feb till 21st Feb no one even called me back offering a resolution, replacement or refund. every day i called them and they promised to call me back withing 24hrs. NO ONE CALLED.
on 22nd Feb i received a called back from a member saying they cannot replace or refund the product as there is nothing wrong with it. I was frustrated and angry both and somewhat surprised with their response.
at the end of the call they said they will look into it and asked me to send another set of pictures to decide.
I am surprised they way Pepperfry operates. I feel like as a customer i am a hostage to them as my money is stuck with them, they are in complete control what they can refund, replace or just refuse to do anything. Was this information helpful? |
