The product was delivered at our door, But when the delivery personals opened the packaging, It was completely different from the product we ordered.
It was not at all matching the image displayed on the Pepperfry website;
The quality of the material used was soo sub-standard and finishing was shoddy, and not worth even half the money we paid.
We rejected the product and raised this with Peopperfry personnels.
They agreed to take back the product, and it was taken back by the same personnel who came to deliver, i.e. on November 19th, 2023.
I did not expect a product of such low-quality standards from "Pepperfry" as I have been a regular customer of the brand.
Nevertheless, I did not expect such an unprofessional and ignorant response from the customer support manager.
We have been following up with the customer care since last one week but haven't received any updates on the refund of our money.
I expected to get the refund the same day the product was returned, just like the other e-commerce companies.
It is the company's internal issues that the quality check was not done properly before delivery, that is not our mistake, why our money has been held for so long? If Pepperfry needs to sort out things internally, kindly do that, but your first action should be refunding customer's money who does not hold your product anymore.
I request Pepperfry to kindly refund the amount back to the source account & I don't want any other product or replacement from the brand. :(
