This is regarding my credit card statement for Flipcart Axis bank card number[protected]
I had enabled auto debit facility from my SB account [protected] for the above credit card. The due date of payment for the month of march was on 7/3/2023. Enough cash balance was available in my account for payment of the credit card bill on 7/3/23. On 9/3/2023 I received a IVRS call from the Axis bank saying1.10that payment for the credit card is not made. Based on the call, I checked my SB account transactions and seen that payment for credit card bill did not happen. I reviewed the Credit Card account details in Axis Bank Mobile App and confirmed that the auto debit facility is already enabled. So I contacted Axis Bank mobile banking phone number[protected] at 15.15 hrs on 9/3/2023 and explained the details. After checking the details the Executive informed that it is a technical error and the auto debit facility will be effected shortly and advised me no action required from my end as enough balance is maintained in my SB account. Since then again IVRS call was received by me on 15/3/23 stating that my bill is not paid and directed me to pay immediately. Again I contacted the phone banking number[protected] and explained the details at 11.10 Hrs on 15/3/23. The Executive after checking the details informed that I need not do anything and the amount will be automatically debited. Today on 17/3/213 to my surprise again I received IVRS call that directed me to pay the amount immediately. When checked the card statement, it is seen that Additional charges for late payment fine, interest and GST amounting to Rs 2332 is charged on my CC. I again contacted the phone banking number[protected]and to my surprise the Executive informed that nothing can be done and I have to pay the full amount including additional interst/fine . After arguing he informed that a discount of Rs 500/ can be allowed in the bill. I asked to connect to his superior Officer, even though he agreed, even after waiting on the other end of phone for more than 20 minutes, he informed that the Officer is busy and indefinite delay is anticipated.
I am high spending customer and associated with Axis bank for more than 20 years. My credit card bill for the month of Jan 23 was 2.62 lakhs. It can be seen that I had never made any default so far for timely payment of the two credit cards issued to me. It is not my fault that the payment is not made from my account even though auto debit facility was enabled by me. The phone banking executives while speaking to me on 9/3/23 and 15/3/23 assured me that no additional charges/fine will be on me and action to be taken by me including direct payment to the card. This can be verified from the Call Recordings data on the above dates.
Considering that no fault made from my side for delay in payment, the additional late payment fee/ interest etc my be waived from my bill and a fresh statement may be issued immediately so that I can make the payment for the bill amount without any interest or additional penalties.
