I went PGI in new OPD gynaecologist floor for my pregnancy checkup. I’m 4 months pregnant and after waiting a such long time finally I got my number after 3hours and I really shocked when I saw the doctors said to the patients to do not come at PGI because of the heavy rush and less space in the delivery wards. They also recommend to the patients to go other hospitals like 16 and 32 sector etc. Patients are coming from far away places for their best treatments and they’re waiting for their turns around 3-4 hours and when finally there turn comes the doctor said we will not do your treatment go to the other hospital and also said we will take the serious patients only.
I understand may be there’re space issue and only can admit the serious patients not everyone but why they tell the patients when they come after waiting so long time.
They should announce in advance that only serious or referred patients will be treated here so please do not come here for waste your valuable time if you don’t have any serious problem during your pregnancy.

my family went pgi 7th may my dad had brain tumour he was suffering from fits nd he was diabetic when he was critical drs knew it very well then dr put covid positive infront of my brother the report was negative when we asked staff mrmbers they said we do whatever our seniors order us i asked who order u about it they washed theri hands nd keep quiet

in covid tym there was no senitizer at all all patients were in same room i asked for a dr there was students not drs who was helping the people very poor service poor management no hygenic very dirty and 0 facility i went there first tym i listen pgi is the best but my expierience is pgi is the worst hospital in the world shame on u management

will come to know how patients feel only if she or someone near to her will suffer in same way
