Doctors at PGI do not know what to do with their patients. They do not have enough oxygen cylinders available or if they have they don't use it.
My mother was admitted in emergency ward she was serious because of asthma she just needed good treatment that's it.
They inserted a tube in her lungs and all the patients with the similar conditions and did not provide oxygen. She was not able to handle it.
They had to give her CPR because her heart stopped but luckily she survived and i could see the same thing happening with other patients and they couldn't survive. I was there in the emergency ward for 24 hours. I saw 16 deaths in just 24 hours.
Doctors were not attending her properly we didn't know what we are suppose to do. The staff and security was rude and security just cared about the entry pass that's it.
She was responsive before we admitted her in PGI but after 10-12 hours she was just still. The pipe that they inserted in her lungs was so painful for her that she couldn't move and her eyes were teary the whole time. We were given ambu and to press it the whole time in order to provide her oxygen.
Due to insufficient oxygen she suffered from irreversible brain injury and she is critical and not in her concious till then.
We took her to another hospital now and because of the negligence of the doctors in PGI my mother has lost her ability to move and I don't know if I will ever be able to listen to her voice or able to see her move by herself.
Now, I want to know is this is normal for the management to see 16 and above deaths in a single department of the hospital?
I am not sure why the doctors are so rude about they don't know a thing about medical science.
They are not taking the lives seriously.
I can understand there are a lot of patients come to PGI on daily basis. Then what is the management doing. They should hire professionals to treat people. They should have more facilities to treat the patients.
