Status as on 7th November 2013 is as under Whatever is done so far in last 3 years or since last 3 months when reminder was put in Sep 2013 is an eyewas with the staus as on date is as under : 1. Fruit vendors at 2 places ( just outside DDA office and adjacent to police check post barrier in the evening everyday & at old location-, Near Guru govind singh college, Pitam Pura opp tringular park ) - The present status is that This is till encroached and no action taken in last 3 years 2. Following are the encroachments which are further added in last few months . Rickshaw stand come up at 3 places ; - (i) opp kasturba polythechnic and next to mazar at prem bari pul, - The present status is that the illegal operations are expanded 3 fold and now the encroachment is 3 times greater than what it was in Sep, 2013. No action taken on this site (ii) Pitam Pura Road in front of DDA office towrds RP Block, Pitam Pura & Near kura ghar of MCD Near MCD Schol, RP Block, Pitam Pura - The present status is that the this encroached site is replaced with new encroached sit just 100 mtrs ahead and just outside as well as inside DDA site No. 19 of NZ for various functions. So these two encroachments are replaced with new encroachment just 100 mtrs ahead (3) Jhuggis/sheds come up at all the 3 rickshaw stand - The present status is that It has also come up infront of Kasturba Polythechnic. and shed is continued infront of DDA office road and also new shed has come just outside DDA Function Site No.19. So 2 new encroacments in last 3 months (4). Jhuggis come up near kura ghar RP Block, Pitam Pura, near MCD small godown- These are not there since last 1 week (5) A road laying contractor M/s P. Arora parks all the heavy vehicles for road laying viz. 3 road roller, 1 big concrete & tarcoal laying mixture cum machine, 2 hot tarcoal melting machines, 2 tractors at the road infront of DDA office towrdas RP Block. Almost half of road is encroached by this contractor and just see that Police PCR van is parked hardly 40 meters to that as if guarding the encroachment and comforting the encroachers Nothing much has changed rather new encroachments hv come in in last 3 months Reminder Complaint made on 11th September, 2013 is as under : First complaint lodged in Oct, 2010 related to illegal encroachment of Public Land near DDA Office, Maurya Enclave, Pitam Pura and titked as "Illegal encroachment by fruit vendors" on https://www.consumercomplaints.in At that time there were 2-3 encroachments, at a particular stretch, as reportedly complained in this complaint 3 years back. In last 3 years, Delhi Police has done nothing to check these encroachment rather few more encroachments hv come at these places and now this area is very much prone to anti social elements. Following are the encroachments reported 3 years back 1. Jhuggis come up near kura ghar RP Block, Pitam Pura, near MCD small godown The said complaint were also made and repeated reminders also sent to Police Commissioner Delhi & who in turn forwards this complaint to Jt CP, North Delhi but nobody has taken any corrective action in last 3 years. In last 3 years 3 Police Commissioners have changed: Mr Bassi is the 3rd CP of DP Earlier 2 Delhi Police Commissioner changed 1. Mr BK Gupta 2. Mr Neeraj Kumar But no body acted Delhi Police is so inefficeint in taking any action on the complaint But they hv been efficient in collecting their dues, which we preseumed to be on a weekly basis but now these dues are collected by a person of Delhi police from these encroachers on daily basis The reason for not taking any action can be that this is a revenue generating proposition for Delhi Police as a Police man on official motorcycle collecting their money everyday ( not hafta but everyday) evening from all these encroachers. Sometime, the SHO is also standing nearly 100-200 meters away from these encroachers and when Policewalla is collecting their daily dues and to a common man it appears like SHO is supervising teh process of collection of daily dues Strange thing that 2 police people stands there entire evening checking unsocial elements entering residential colony on two wheelers specifically motor cycle but only motive of these police wall's is to collect money by harassing citizens because the very unsocial and criminal elements may be very well under their nose in these encrochments and to any outsider it would appear like these police wall's are there to protect these encroachers. After dusk ( late evening) entire stretch is full of people encroaching upon the entire area by rickshawwalls and others which may very well include anti social and criminal elements and its risky to take this particular stretch. The complaint filed in Oct, 2010 on this website only and to official email ID of Commissioner and Jt Comm. of Delhi Police and thereafter at least 50 reminders to the official email ID's but without any action. The original complaint of Oct 2010, is as under : There was a complaint lodged on 12.10.2010 at website of consumer complaints. wherein it was requeted to authorities to remove the illegal encroachment by fruit vendors next to DDA Office, RP Block Pitam Pura, Delhi. > These fruit vendor illegally occupied public property immediately after left turn from DDA Office, Pitam Pura -Near RP Block ( one way traffic ) > Don't know that because of the complaint lodged in Oct 2010 or may be due to some other reason, these fruit vendors were removed about 2 weeks back in Jan 2011. > Now these vendors don't open their shops at that particular location but their belongings viz. Handpulled cart, fruits etc are still lying there. as now these fruit vendors hv started sitting just opposite to the road, where they were sitting earlier. i.e. on right turn from DDA office towards ZP Block > Moreover, there old location has become godown for keeping their stocks & other personal belongings & their new location site has become the sale point. > So now the illegal occupation of public land has just doubled. > It is really very sad that the enforcing authorities ( MCD & Delhi Police ) just do nothing to avoid such illegal encroahing public land > Irony is that in the evening u wd find the Police Gypsy just standing near this new site. > Pls don't allow this new site also to become the case of illegal encroachment 7 also take necessary steps to remove the illegal encrtoachment at both the sites
