PNB — Blocking of debit card- Bad customer service | |||
Dear Sir, I am Ramesh Chandra Mishra, father of Dr Sasmita Mishra, who is a S/B account holder in Punjab National Bank. Her account number is [protected]. She went to Germany on 02/04/2015. But unfortunately she lost her wallet in Berlin. In her wallet she had her PNB debit-cum-ATM card. She tried to contact your customer care Toll free numbers like [protected], [protected] and also Tolled number[protected] . But there was no response. Out of desperation, she sent me a message, requesting to get her debit card blocked. I called the customer care numbers and the officers concerned did not block it on the ground that the account holder did not talk to them. She is in Germany. Her registered mobile number [protected] is out of range without any roaming facility in that. Though she tried to call different customer care numbers, she could not contact those CC officers. Your customer care officers told that the same CC number [protected] and [protected] will also work from Germany. I doubt this. Kindly block her debit card and guide her and me properly so that inconveniences and mishaps are avoided. I am sending a copy of this email to my daughter Dr Sasmita Mishra and your Call Centre.
