I last logged into my account about 2 months ago, maybe longer. I tried to do an online transaction but due to late otp arrival on phone and crappy internet connection i got locked out of my account. Since then i have been trying to activate my account without any success. I have been in touch with pnb customer service multiple times, they just send me a list of instructions for online activation which have zero results. My branch of pnb is 12 kms from my house and i have visited there three times and am told my problem cannot be addressed as there is no electricity on each occasion.
I have also attempted to make online payments with my debit card numerous times but the otp arrives sometmes 24 hours later and then the same message arrives multiple times, so not only am i not able to make any transactions but i am also going to be charged for each otp sent [ once it was seven times and 2 hours late ] which is of no use since it arrives way too late to do anything with it. At other times the otp does not arrive at all. I have not been able to use my debit card even once for online transactions. Once i am back in the uk i am definitely opening an account in a private bank. I have had quite enough of sh... Y service of pnb.
