Png Jewellers — Extra 2% money been charged from customer through card payment

Hi,

On 27th Nov 2016 have purchase 1 Gram Gold from PNG Jewellers Kalyan shop its cost me around 2900 plus 2% Vat. When have said will make payment through card they asked me 2% extra for card payment. Its cost me around 60 RS extra. When have checked it through net its seems an illegal money merchants asking from consumer.

I am want to highlight this this to concern that merchant asking consumer to pay extra on card payment.

I also found same practise of changing 2% on debit card swipe at PNG (Pu Na Gadgil) Jewelers, Pune on 04 Jan 2017. This is really not a fair approach. Will someone do the needful or advice what steps need to be taken by the customers?

Still PNG is changing 2% on credit card swipe why? infact no other jewellery shop in pune is charging the extra 2%. Better not to buy from PNG. I will not go again to PNG.
