Application No: S[protected] Plan Name: HDFC Life Personal Pension Plus Name of Customer: Lokesh Kandpal I bought HDFC STANDARD PERSONAL PENSION PLUS with annual premium of Rs 51, 750/- on 20 Jul 15. Ref ::::::: (( APPLICATION ID 25370680 AND S[protected] Pl attend to following grievances wrt my application under ref FIRSTLY. ::::: I was made to understand by the salesman at POLICY BAZZAR that the HDFC STANDARD PERSONAL PENSION PLUS is offering 100% withdrawal of TOTAL VESTING BENIFITS of Rs 13, 00, 000/- approximately; at the time of maturity THAT TOO WILL BE TAX FREE...as against ...THE NATIONAL PENSION SCHEME OF SBI which permits withdrawal of only 33% of TOTAL VESTING BENIFITS of Rs 16, 00, 000/- approximately; at the time of maturity as tax free and rest to be invested in annuity for pension. I was told that the difference in TOTAL VESTING BENIFITS at the time of maturity of the two pension schemes VIZ HDFC PENSION SCHEME AND NATIONAL PENSION SCHEME OF SBI;;;; which is higher in later scheme; was due to insurance cover in HDFC PLAN which is not so in NATIONAL PENSION SCHEME OF SBI. SECONDLY Due to this above mentioned information about HDFC pension plan by your salesman, I decided to purchase the said plan. However as I now read in ILLUSTRATION FORM sent through your mail ::: wherein it has been mentioned that on "TOTAL VESTING BENIFITS at the time of maturity: I may be required, by legislation, to use all or part of TOTAL VESTING BENIFITS to purchase an annuity", WHICH IS IN TOTAL CONTRADICTION TO WHAT I HAVE BEEN MADE TO UNDERSTAND... THIRDLY AS THIS POLICY : ie, HDFC STANDARD PERSONAL PENSION PLUS is NOT offering 100% withdrawal of TOTAL VESTING BENIFITS AT THE TIME OF MATURITY AS I Was MADE TO UNDERSTAND BY THE SALESMAN :::::::::::::::SO I REQUEST to cancel my policy and refund the amount forthwith to my account FURTHER WHEN I APPLIED FOR THIS REFUND THROUGH COSTOMER CARE NO :::: I was given to understand that I can be refunded of the amount only after 10 working days w/o interest for the intervening period. THIS IS AGAINST CONSUMER's interest AND NOT ACCEPTABLE. Pl organize to repay or refund amt forthwith. In case of delay organize refund with admissible interest.
