This is regarding getting a refund for my cancelled car insurance policy (Policy Number[protected] from National Insurance company through Policy Bazaar) on Date 05/10/2019 for a total amount Rs. 3753. I cancelled my car insurance almost an hour after I purchased it because of some error in the policy as guided by Mr. Abhishek from Policy Bazar, who asked me to cancel the policy and buy a new policy.
He suggested so and told me that I will not be charged for a single penny for policy cancellation as I cancelled it before policy even started over a recorded line and that I will get my refund processed in my account in around 3-5 working Days which I never got. I called Policy Bazar customer care after 5 working days then I was told the refund takes 7 days.
I did not get any information on refund for almost 10 working days, today (17/10/2019) when I called again to the customer care, Mr. Hiraz asked me about the policy and he says that I am raising a request for cancellation today and you will get your refund in 15-17 days and that I will be charged for minimum of Rs. 118 as admin fees and also for the days which the policy has been used on prorata basis .
I am highly disappointed and frustrated because of the consistent follow ups and getting pathetic replies. They come up with something new every time I call the customer care for asking refund. I am tired of all this, If you could please help me with the same. Was this information helpful? |
