I bought term insurance from "Policy Bazar" with proposal number 72496733.
I am diabetic person, I told the same to policy bazar executive so based on that she suggested me to go for Kotak life with the premium of Rs 1514 and ask me to go for medical and told me that my premium may get increased a bit.
So I did the same, but after medical i received a mail from Kotak life and they asked me to pay extra Rs 757 this was not just a bit, this is more than 50% from the premium asked in total the amount reached close to 2300 PM excluding taxes from 1514.
My pocket does allow this much, so I asked for a refund, Now policy bazar is saying they will not give a single penny because I didn't accept revised premium & asked to withdraw so all premium amount has been settled in medical expenses, . Why your executive didn't told this to customer that their premium would get adjusted in medical if you not accept the revised premium. My question here is how someone can withdraw the policy which is not issued yet. Why not ask customers to pay the rest of the amount that you have spent on his medical. I paid a monthly premium. You adjust that, what if anyone pays yearly premium, would you digest all his premium with the same reason? Was this information helpful? |
