I have applied for port of health insurance Policy from HDFC ergo to Niva Bupa, through Policy Bazaar.
On 10th March '23. I paid Rs. 36879. as premium for one year.
After it, i was asked to share medical history of all members of my family, my wife Harsh Swarup had undergone a surgery ( recovered well after surgery) in Feb. 2014 for 'Pott. Spine '. I sent documents related to this.
On 9th April, i got a mail from Policy Bazaar stating that Niva Bupa has refused to give health cover because of illness of my wife.
I got the policy ( through other Agent) from another company and on 10th. April, I asked policy bazaar to cancel the policy/ application form Niva Bupa, and to refund the money I paid as premium of Rs.36879.
But now what I am getting is just assurances after every 2-3 days, from Policy Bazaar, that they are following up the issue, as my money is stuck here and premium paid to another company, i am finding difficult to meet my expenditures. Was this information helpful? |
