On 09/08/2021, I purchased a health insurance plan from Max Bupa via the policybazaar website.
My premium amount (Rs.53861) was debited from my account. But the transaction failed for some unknown reason.
It has been more than one week and I have received no clarity on why this problem has occurred, where the money is stuck, and when can I expect the refund of my money. I was reassured multiple times that I will receive a refund within 24-48 hours after the initial issue - this turned out to be untrue. In fact, the money should have automatically been refunded if the transaction failed, but it wasn't. Since then, I have not received any clarity regarding what exactly is going on.
