Greetings. Policybazzar sold me a term life insurance policy (TATA AIA) with wrong Premium amount & paying terms.
I had requested for a term insurance policy from TATA AIA for 1 CR life cover with Paying term 10 years on Sept 27, 2022.
The Policy U[protected] got issued by TATA AIA on Oct 02, 2022 with life cover 1.5cr, PT 5 years instead of requested Life Cover of 1Cr & PT 10 years.
I was assured time and again by Policy Bazaar agents that the policy will be issued only after the requested changes(Life cover 1CR & PT 10 years) as per my email and telephonic discussion with them.
Policybazzar then assured me to rectify the error & re-issue the policy with correct details.
TATA AIA refused to make amendments & agreed to cancel the policy. I am since then following up with PolicyBazaar for full refund INR 23137 as they mistake was caused by Policybazaar.
I got partial refund of INR 17602.47 on Oct 19 & chasing PolicyBazaar for remaining refund of Inr 5535/- from last 2+ months. They keep on giving me new dates but no headway.
I am able to provide email correspondence /evidence of the details I provided in the email.
Need your help please to resolve the issue & impose penalty on Policybazzar for selling wrong policy & then not providing the refund for more than 2 months already.
