This is my Second compalint against Pothys, Puducherry, for not respecting the persons with Disabilities during shopping.
It is heartening to note that Pothys shop - one of the prestigious flagship shopping mall, located in Puducherry, had denied the use of Lift facility from basement to Floors today on 13th April 2024 during our shopping with my disabled ward causes not only mental agony but also seems high embarassment to persons with disableness. Upon enquiry, I was told by the staff on duty that the lift facility will be provided from basement for wheel chair users only and not for other kind of disabled persons. "I strongly believe that Pothys will never appoint a Blind person in the management for any purpose". Even having seen the ward who accompanied me, the staff on duty in the Basement Lift place today (13.04.2024) had not shown any humaitic or sympathetic consideration. I have registered a written complaint about this. I hope the Management will resolve my complaint at once and pave justice to persons with Disabilities who are visiting Pothys shops located at various places. Was this information helpful? |
