I purchased a 2 bhk apartment in 2013 by paying 1/3 of the cost. It was registered in my name immediately. The rest of the amount was supposed to be paid when i occupy the flat, I was promised that the possession of the flat will be handed over to me in 18 to 24 months. After 18 months when I visited the plot I was surprised to see that there was no work happening at the alloted block. When I approached the builder he, chased me away telling that wait until the construction finishes. I live in a rented house, I am a retired lady with no support from any side, all my lifetime savings is in a doubtful situation, I frequently visited the builder, he at last showed some courtesy and allotted me a different flat in a different apartment. But this flat is not suitable to shift as 30 per cent work is unfinished, he is demanding the balance amount to complete the other flat. I came to know that this apartment is not regularised yet through civic authorities. Now I am totally confused, should I pay the remaining amount and get the other flat register on my name is wait for my already registered flat, which my take another 18 months to complete. Can anybody suggest me what should I do now. I am very scares by the attitude of the builder. Was this information helpful? |
