Sub: request for change of my bike’s back tyre with a new one under the bike warranty claim
History – what happened?
I purchased a yamaha bike model fz version2, bike no: tn59-br9912 purchased on 10/may/2018 from praneel g motors, madurai.
After two months o[censored]se, i started encountering air leak problem on my bike’s back tyre.
Means – the tyre back pressure reduces quickly for reasons unknown. I. E. I was literally started checking tyre air pressure everyday.
I have taken up this issue with my original bike dealer where i purchased it. But surprisingly they were non-responsive and also keep on stating that any kind of problems related to tyre will not come under warranty so we will not be looking into it. I was clueless of what to do next. But somehow tried requesting them to check this issue during the regular recommended bike services time. But during that time too they somehow left this issue unresolved. However i didn’t leave it and kept asking for solution, did continuous follow-ups.
Finally one day, praneel motors advised me to go and check with the tyre manufacturers of my bike. They themselves have given me all the contact details of the relevant persons. I approached them and requested their checking as advised. But unfortunately there too i faced similar kind o[censored]nresponsive behaviours from the person in-charge. But upon similar continuous follow-ups, they agreed to take up the case and did complete checking of the back tyre.
Upon checking they have concluded and issued a report too stating that the wear present in the tyre is not due to any manufacturing defect of the tyre and it is due to ‘one sided wear’. Hence they recommended me to approach back to the original bike dealer for further actions.
Note: i have attached herewith the tyre checking report submitted by them for your kind reference and records.
Request to the yamaha motors:
As explained in the above history section, you can understand the amount of pain/embarrassment/non-responsive behaviours which i faced with my bike dealer where i purchased my bike.
I am deeply hurt by all the happenings. I feel like i am being punished for ‘no’ mistake of mine.
With deep sorrow and as a last hope, i raise this complaint to yamaha motors head office directly. I kindly request you to register my complaint and help me in resolving this with an amicable solution.
All i need is a ‘new tyre’ getting replaced under my warranty as i am still within my warranty claim period.
Hope you will understand, accept my compliant and do the needful.
