Goons control the whole system here. Its just not about money being looted the whole process is owned by the goons and its come to safety of an individual at the end.
i took an prepaid and at counter the gentlemen told me to pay via paytm etc to which i agreed because everything looked safe and fine till now. But when i asked him where to pay he guided me to the some weird guy standing at exit door of the booth. By no means he looked like and employee because there were already two cashiers at the counter and this guy was talking to mutliple drivers. Anyhow i did not suspected it since he was inside the booth and was asked by cashier there to pay him directly. I paid Rs 950 for gurgaon and got a slip ( im not sure the amount looks like 150 or 750 or 100, pfa).
once paid the same guy told me walk for 200 mtrs towards metro station and told me the roughly number of a car starting 1600 series.
I reached near cab and driver starting asking me if had luggage then 2 more drivers came starting questioning me but it sounded like they were bullying/interrogation. i waited for atleast 25 min and to my surprise there was another man who was asked to travel along with me. I questioned them back because this was not fair how can they take unknown passengers and for them it was ok because they take a ride in less amount and have to pay cops and contractor who has multiple cabs there. So again i wasted 20 mins there arguing but to no solution. then after i spoke to other unknown passenger and told him how unsafe it could be for any one o[censored]s. so he also denied for the share cab. But to my shock they asked me to wait again. since they already took the green slip from so forget about the ride i was asking them to return my slip first but they never did. it was like a hostage scene. and finally when i confronted them they finally moved but till cab ticket counter only ( say about 100 metrs) and after crossing ticket counter they stopped the cab again and started to wait for other passenger to join. i started arguing with them to which they had simple answer that they crossed the ticket counter therefore cant return the cab or fee receipt. the only option i had was to wait on road. somehow they did get the other passenger and agreed to leave.
How on earth this was possible? that too which has indian police written on charge slip and on booth. and im afraid enough to imagine what they are doing to foreigners!!! or people from other state!
Please take strict action. what i have realised, people sitting at the counter are the most corrupt ones because they allow this all to happen and vendor which has a maximum number of cabs are the goons there. no one says nothing to them including cops. just fyi one highly influencer was sitting on chair on road smoking!! it was like he was there for bar dance show. im 110 % sure they are doing this every person including foreigners and bringing our nation name to shame because it is govt managed by delhi police!!
