1. Non-Refund of Advance Salary
I paid an advance salary amount to Prenu.in as part of their service agreement. Despite repeated follow-ups, the agency has refused to refund the advance amount, citing a “non-refundable” clause. This stance is unjustified, as the agency failed to fulfill several fundamental obligations under the same contract.
2. Failure to Perform Mandatory Verification
After the nanny was provided:
No ID proofs were collected from the nanny
No background verification was conducted
No police verification was completed
These checks were explicitly mentioned as part of their service commitments. The nanny was instructed not to share documents via WhatsApp and was told they would be collected in person, which never happened.
3. Lack of Communication and Accountability
Once the advance payment was collected:
The agency stopped responding to calls and messages
The nanny’s repeated calls to the agency regarding her salary went unanswered
No follow-up or resolution was provided despite multiple reminders
Due to their complete inaction, I was forced to pay the nanny’s salary directly, even though this responsibility clearly lies with the agency.
4. Breach of Contract and Unfair Trade Practice
The agency selectively enforces clauses favorable to them (such as “non-refundable advance”) while failing to honor their own contractual obligations, including verification, communication, and salary processing. This amounts to breach of contract and unfair trade practice.
5. Attempt at Amicable Resolution
I have made several attempts to resolve this matter amicably, including offering that the refund be paid directly to the nanny. However, Prenu.in has shown no willingness to resolve the issue fairly.
I respectfully request:
Immediate refund of the advance salary amount
Written clarification from Prenu.in justifying their actions
Appropriate action against the agency to prevent similar issues for other customers
