Public Sector Insurance Co. — Reception of Nephrology Department

On 12/13/23 2023, Mr Victanand V, MRD No. 2439750, has booked for 3 Doctors. Dr. U. Natarajan, Cardiologist; Dr. George Kuriyan, Nephrologist and Dr. Bini Faizal, ENT.

The cardiology Dept was opened before 8 AM. There was token system and the reception was working smoothly. I have explained the secretary of Dr U Natarajan that I have to run between departments. She was very attentive and helpful. I could do my ECG and ECHO and consult the Dr. before 11 AM. The secretary of Dr. U Natarajan called me over telephone when my turn came and I could consult my Dr. In time.

In comparison, even though I took token around 8: 30 and all the tests were done and the token No was only 22 I could only consult the Dr
Around 2 PM..

There was no token system in Nephrology Dept. The reception was very poor.

Even though repeatedly I told that I have to consult 3 doctors she was not giving a clear picture and did not call me over telephone, when my turn came.

Just like in market patients were keeping their records in Verandha befor the counter was opened.

The receptionist was arrogant and do not know how to deal with patients.

Token system should have been introduced in Nephrology Dept. Receptionist needs hospitality training.
