Pune Corporation — inconvenient and incorrect design of the new dp road at aundh under smart city projects

I stay at aundh pune and part of the dp road has been reconstructed from parihar chowk to breman chowk under smart city project.
While this is a great initiative the entire design is flawed for the following reasons
1. Too much space is wasted for pavements
2. Very narrow road for vehicles. Now the depth of the stalled traffic at bremen chowk signal is almost upto 50 meters inside the road. Too much wastage of time at the signal because roads is now quite narrow
3. Very less parking space for vehicles
4. The clay put into the rectangular areas meant for bushes is not well guarded. It spills on the pavement and during rainy season it will create muddy pavement
In this country we are already battling with space issue on the roads. Roads are narrow and too many vehicles during peak hours.in this case instead of attempting to broaden the road, corporation has narrowed it increasing the problems under so called smart city.

Yet another flawed initiative in this country.
