Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing incident that occurred on[protected] involving three of your officers, Mr.Vinayak Shodhan Chinchewadikar (Badge No: 10260), Mr. Badrinath Nimba Deware (Badge No: 12024), Mr. Dhanaji Aappa Waghmare (Badge No:3963) and I wish to file a formal complaint regarding the matter.
On[protected], at approximately 12.30 PM, I was driving along Bibwewadi road in my vehicle with the license plate number MH 29 BC 7776. To my utter surprise, I received a traffic violation challan on[protected], alleging that I had committed a traffic rule violation at the aforementioned location and time. I must vehemently dispute this claim as I firmly believe that I was adhering to all traffic regulations during that time. Furthermore, upon reviewing the photographic evidence provided with the challan, it is evident that the violation mentioned is inaccurate and does not represent my actions. I removed the seat belt and was about to get out of the car and at that time Mr. Vinayak clicked my photograph - the car key in my hand will explain it all (please check attached photos). They also charged me for jumping the signal for which (with all due respect) I demand evidence or CCTV footage. The reason why I am asking is because it's impossible for me to jump a signal when I was taking left and there were at least 2-3 vehicles in front of me. The worst part was that they did not return my license even when I agreed to pay the fine online.
In addition to the false traffic violation accusation, I must bring to your attention the unprofessional and rude behavior displayed by the police officer who interacted with me during this incident. When I attempted to discuss the matter with the officers at the scene, they were dismissive and condescending in their mannerisms. Such behavior from a law enforcement officers is not only discourteous but also erodes public trust in the police force.
I am deeply concerned about the implications of this incident on my driving record. I kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter, including a review of the photographic evidence and a reevaluation of the traffic violation challan issued to me.
Furthermore, I believe it is essential to address the conduct of the police officers involved in this incident. It is crucial that officers maintain professionalism and respect when interacting with the public, as their behavior reflects upon the entire police force.
I kindly request that you keep me informed about the progress of this investigation and any actions taken as a result. I trust that your department will take the necessary steps to rectify this situation and restore my faith in the fairness and integrity of our law enforcement system.
