I contacted the manager for the study loan of my son chirag goel who has been permitted by iit chicago usa for masters in computers science, about one month ago. The manager assured me of full cooperation for earliest possible sanction subject to completion of documents. I have completed all the documents about one week back, but file till today has neither reached hub nor any type of cooperation .The result of the last qualifying examination was declared on 22nd and a copy from internet downloaded was submitted in the bank so that loan sanction letter may be obtained till 29th july because my son"s viva date is 30 th july . This letter is mandatory for viva .All other formalities including FD of cash amount was made on the insistance of the manager . Now this letter is necessitated for my visa within 48 hours. Moreover I have spent thousands of ruppees in collection of all the documents and also have paid handsome amount to my councellor with a faith to get loan sanction letter after having a detailed talk about a month back .If i donot get this letter till 28th then it will be of no use for me and this is due to delay in processing of my file on one pretext or the other .(Some time manager is busy, some time dealing hand is busy or on leave or there is meeting with GM and some days they can't find time due to bank auditors .). In short a lot of time, energy, money wastage and a heavy risk of losing a golden opportunity of studying abroad . I am feeling humiliation in visiting like a shuttle cock and inspite of being a respected HOD in a post graduate college is being treated like a poor helpless fellow . Moreover I am being asked time and again for more and more FD's, which is beyond my capacity. Neccessary strict instructions may please be passed to the lathargic officials of main branch of the PNB for the better service and to avoid unneccessary harrassment and loss to the people.

i have account in pnb lahurabir varanasi U.P. my saving a/c no is [protected].
at the date[protected] i inserted the atm card in faizabad hdfc atm machine, wthout getting the cash balance 1000/- rs is reduced .i m the student so i need o that money .i concern to the bank, complaint to the consumer forum but no one help me so plz help me to solve my problem .

    My self rajesh kumar. i have Punjab National Bank Account No.[protected] branch Gajraula in U.P. I withdraw 12000/ Rs in OBC Bank ATM on Date-06/05/2009 .we have no recieved amount at that time but amount less in my account 12000/Rs .AT that time i complaine in PNB Branch, OBC Branch and PNB head office but no responce and now which responce given me that was rong.

    Dear Sir,

    Please find the attached scan copy of the transaction slip on which thresponse code is 000 which indicates that the transaction did not happen as confirmed by the Branch Manager of Oriental Bank at Gajraula.
    Further he confirmed that no enquiry for this case has been approached from his OBC switch till date.

    In this case how can I believe that OBC has declared that transaction was sucessful?

    Dear Sir,

    What I understand from the response of your bank is that if any other banks comment any thing, it is acceptable to you. If the ATM machine malfunctions, you just raise your hands. This means PNB is not able justify for their customers and the customers would at the mercy of ATM machines.
    If you are incapable please let us know, I would request our Corporate head for finance to withdraw all the operational accounts with PNB and report the consumer court.

    I suppose you would expedit the matter seriously.

    Dear Sir,

    My name is Varun Sharma I am living in delhi I have the account in Oriental Bank of Commerce the account no is [protected] in Shahdara I was Deposit the check on friday in Oriental Bank of Commerce in Shahdara. I was told to officer sir these cheques are local please register in your computer he treats customer like we r the servent of those people his behaviour is very bad and this is not first time when ever we r going to the bank the staff of the bank is coming late its not a problem of one day this is the problem of every day if we say sir plesse entery this cheque they told the cheque is droped in the dropped box when the cheque is local or outstation. I was dropped the cheque on friday morning at 10:30 am at these all r local cheque at present the cheques was not cashed to my account at the date 3-08-09 on monday evening. whni called to customer care of OBC bank they told me the rules of RBI is if we submitted the local cheque the it will be cleared with in 24 hour and he told me in OBC we take three to four days for clearance and saturday the r not doing this cheques work and i told them u people r not following the rules of RBI he told me no we r not follwing the rules of RBI. I am requested to u sir Please do something againist this I am facing very much problems for this. Please take actions on this regards.

[protected] with OBC from past six months and everything was going fine but suddenly one day my card got stuck in canara bank ATM tirupathi so i gave complaint on 27 june for new card to my branch which is in madahavpur hitech city hyderabad and OBC employee(PRO) of madhavpur branch MR pattabhi rao assured me that i will get my ATM card with in 7 to 10 working days and i can collect it form the branch (madhavpur) but till now i dint received the card and it was more horrifying and terrible when i visited the branch four time they said that it is due to some technical issue the card was not dispatched from head office but when i visited fifth time card issue went into argument when i was explaining my problem they were not listening to me and it is was more horrifying when senior branch manger shouted at me did not spoke to me in proper way and asked mr pattabhi rao (PRO)to ask me to leave the branch office and informed me that we will get in touch with you whenever there is a solution to my problem it was very embarrassing moment for me that OBC bank giving this kind of customer service .

    Requet you to take action on Those employee for treating customer like these and i hope that necessary action will be taken on them.

    This is Harish kumar. Sir I have Account with P.N.B Bank civil line main branch in jalandhar city. Account no is [protected]. I went to A.T.M machine on[protected] to withdraw the money which is Rs.7000/-. First time i enter the amount Rs.7000 but machine didn't take out the cash but process is complete. after words i again put A.T.M and enter the amount again that time i get my money but on receipt cash was shown 8262.71 which is spouse to be 15262.71. i was shocked and did complaint in my branch to Mr. Gupta (branch manager).     Branch, Shamli. I am also maintaining account with Distt.Coop Bank
    Budhana(A/c, No.4207) as I was working as a Lecturer in DAV College
    Budhana. I have issued one Self Cheque of Distt.Coop.Bank for
    Rs.70, 000/- and deposited it in your PNB Branch, Budhana (Code 056600)
    on 27th July, 2011 for crediting the amount to my SB A/c. with PNB
    Shamli.

    On 28th July, 2011 Manager PNB, Budhana returned the cheque saying
    that this amount cannot be credited to my account being maintained at
    PNB Shamli. Then I contacted your Compalint Cell at[protected] and
    it was informed to me that the cheque has wrongly been returned by
    Budhana branch. Thereafter I deposited another Cheque No.1224886 dated
    30.7.2011 for Rs.70, 000/- of Distt Coop.Bank in your Palika Bazar
    Branch for crediting the same to my SB A/c. being maintained in
    PNB, Palika Bazar, Shamli. To my surprise, till 4th August, the cheque
    in question has not been sent to either Coop.Bank or to your Budhana
    Branch for collection. On 5th August, 2011 I made a complaint
    No.55948632 but till 9th August, 2011 the amount has not been
    credited to my account.

    I have issued this cheque for some urgent work and the lackadaisical
    manner in which your branch handled the things are highly
    objectionable and is against ethics, especially when I am handicapped
    and over and above I am a Sr.Citizen retired as Lecturer in Chemistry.
    This is utmost harrasmment but nothing. Please realise the gravity of
    the complaint and do take immediate steps against the erring staff.

      this is to inform you that i tried to withdraw the money from allahabad bank atm on 20th oct 2008..but could not get the money and my account was debited.since then i m complaining to the call centre and the everytime i get the reply that your account will be credited in 10 days, 15 days, etc..but nothin has happened so far.its almost 10 months since then.recently also i complained on 4th june bt in vain...so please pay heed to my matter as soon as possible..i am planning to go to court and wil ask for hefty compensation for the inconveinience caused to me.THIS is also to inform you that the bank will have to pay me compensation 100/- per day from the date of complaint til the credit of account as per new RBI circular issued recently.The details of the transaction is listed below:

      I wanted to get Rs. 1500 from Punjab National Bank ATM on 31st july to pay my tuition fees, but it didn't paid me the money instead it debited the same amount from account. Finally I lodged the complaint in my base branch and their call centre and they assured me that I will get the same within 14 days but today is 18th day and I have not been credited with the amount even after repeated reminder to them. I have to miss class to visit bank as I am running short of money and I cant say it to my parent as they will never use internet banking.

      i tried to withdrawal an amt of ten thousand from corporation bank atm on 12th of oct 2009 , which i didn't get n its got debited frm my a/c n i submit my complaint on the same day , my a/c is with punjab national bank , i used to call him every weak but they don't sure me when i will get my amt back from now it has been around morethan 4 months that they r making me fool , so tell me what i have to do in that case
      I debited 1200 from the atm and did not recived complete amount . Rs 500 was not received by me . I made a complaint to the toll free number but after receiveing the complaint number i never got resolution . Amount is still not back in my account .

      My name is Mohammad Saqib and I have a salary account with HDFC bank ending in 7264 (the debit card ends in 9562), I tried to take cash from the PNB ATM (N1151400) on 02/07/2011 around 01:45 pm IST for Rs 500 and for Rs 1000, but the funds were not taken out from the ATM and the transactions were gone on pending status, after the 2 minutes the page got expired and there were no cash got out from the ATM, also I had not received any transaction slips, however the funds were debited from my account and as of now I have not received the credit back into my salary account for the amount of total Rs 1500.00.

          I am an ATM-cum-Debit Card holder [Nos.[protected] and[protected]Add-on Card)] against S/B Account No.[protected] with Punjab National Bank, Salt Lake, Sector-V, Kolkata-700091 branch. At the time of issuing the above card, the bank informed that “There is no annual fee for your card”. But on 14.02.09, bank has deducted Rs 200/- as annual fee for the Debit Cards.

          When I mailed the concerned auothority (The Chief ATM/Debit Cards, Punjab National Bank, HO: 5, Sansad Marg, New Delhi 110001) regarding this annual fee they promptly informed me through mail :
          “Keeping in view to provide hassle free services, expansion of ATM network and pacing with the advance technology the Bank levied an annual charge of Rs100/- w.e.f .01.02.2008, which is nominal as compared to charges being levied by other Banks.”

          Later on, I came to know that the bank has not imposed any annual charge against use of ATM-cum-Debit card to some of my colleagues and in some cases they have refunded the deducted annual fee for use of ATM-cum-Debit Card. When I mailed them regarding this partiality, even after reminder, they are surprisingly silent.

          Now my question is :

          Why my deducted money cannot be refunded like others?
          Whether the justice can be varied from customer to customer?

            Amount deducted from ATM but not received in complete cash from ATM

            Sir, I am Ashok Suryabhan Kohak, holding an account in PNB Bank, B B CANTT Srinagar, with Account No: [protected]. I had withdrawn RS. 25, 000/- from Axis Bank, Ahamed Nagar Where ATM is Situated. On 06 Jun 2009. The amount was deducted my account but only RS. 11, 000/- cash coming from ATM, Remaining RS. 14, 000/- not received in cash. I had complaint the same in Bank's customer care but he intimate to me give this complaint to PNB Bank. I had complaint to my PNB bank, BB Cantt Srinagar that holding my account, but bank manager not take action & ruff talking about I have made transaction to other bank ATM.
            Same type of problem faced on 09 Jun 2009, I had withdraw rupees 400/- from Indian Overseas Bank, Ahamed Nagar Where ATM is Situated. On 09 Jun 2009. The amount was deducted my account but not received in cash. I had complaint the same in Bank's customer care &. PNB Bank B B Cantt Srinagar. dt. 26 Jun 2009 I met Genral Manager too. But No result found till today i.e. 08 Jul 2009. I had not received the amount. Kindly take necessary action to help me in this regards to get my money back in to my account. Tel Me what to do?, I am very much disappointed since this is not a small amount and covers a big part of my salary. .

                I have a a/c no. [protected] in your sheikh sarai branch. I withdrawl a amount of Rs.800.00 on 21.11.2008 and its debited twice. After that i went out of station and I lodge a complaint on 05.05.09 to PNB customer care executive Mr.Amit and the request no. is 14532396. Again i called at PNB C. care on 20.05.09 and they give me a request no.14888788 and Again I called on 26.05.09 and the request no. is 15061630. After that I called up on 04.06.09 again i got the same response. After a lots of argument they give me a no.[protected]. I call in that no. but they just picked the phone and hold for a long long time without saying hello to it. I call on 16.06.09 in PNB customer care i.e.[protected] they respond that within 3 days I will get my money back, again I called on 18.06.09 they said they got a feedback from ATM Cell that the money will revert with in 3 days positively. But till now I don’t get my money back.

                    I Akhilesh Kumar Mishra have saving account in State Bank of India, Branch Khopoli, Raigad, Maharasthra Branch (account no. [protected]), on 01/07/2009 at 5.30 P.M. I went to withdraw a some of Rs.15000/- from Panjab National bank Khopoli branch ATM, I entered the amount but cash not dispensed in ATM and Rs.-15000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) debited from my account I checked account status in SBI ATM next morning and found rupees fifteen thousand as ATM withdrawal on 01/07/2009. I have given my Bank pass book and statement details to KHOPOLI branch office with written application.

                    On 02/07/2009 I have given online complaint to SBI customer care service my complaint Ticket no. CC[protected] Please check all the details and arrange to credit the money in my account as soon as possible. In future I will not use any other bank ATM even I can surrender my ATM card as it is giving problem repeatedly.
                    Therefore I request you to look in to the matter seriously and resolve my problem as soon as possible because as it causes a lot of physical effort. It can also cause of the problems for me as I have issued some cheques which may bounce because of lack of funds in my account.

                      Hello Sir, I didn't knew that the banks are set up for the existing customers only. I went to the punjab national bank for educational loan in siliguri, but they are asking if i am an existing customer, if not than they cannot proceed, but if on arguing they proceed thay cannot grant giving some unnecessary reasons like they don't have time to pass the loan at the time, maybe for some months too. I wanted to know why are they providing daily advertisement in newspapers about educational loan, if they don't have time. It just shows that thay dont want to grant the loan. I have a complain on this ground where no clause has been setup saying only educational loans be granted to existing customers only.

                      Punjab Natinal Bank — not granting my loan

                      I am student studying in bhopal and i am pursuing BE from here. I am now in 3rd year of my degree. my hometown is in Biaora [rajgarh] . I have been applying for loan in the bank's branch in biaora from last two and a half years. My fathers pension also comes in the same branch. His account is also about seven-eight years old. First we applied in my first year, the manager told us that the loan will be granted, but a year passed with words that loan will be granted. after that the manager is transferred. The new manager came and he told us that they stopped giving loan and it is in the hand of regional brach office in indore to give loan or not. we gave all the documents he asked us to give, and uptill september 2009, whenever we go to branch.he says that answer haven't came from reginal office.In october when my father went to that branch, he came to know that he is also being transferred. he took the manager's number and the manager told my father that you haven't gave me the documents.This means that they have also threw my documents somewhere.

                      therefore, i m complainting for the worst response from the bank and i hope my complaint will be solved.

                        If you are studying in a good enough institute then a private bank will give you the money. Just take the loan upto the limit you are allowed and then go to your college. Find a job there or any other alternate means of income. Every foreign student is expected to work in other countries to earn part of the fees. And just try to improve your English before going there. U would be representing India in Singapore so try to improve yourself before going there.
                        Still things dont work out ask money from your relatives and friends. I[censored] r serious you will find a way

My son is studying in PGPBM (affiliated by PTU) at ISBM, Noida. The management has agreement with PNB. Your bank has also issued a circular to grant the loan for this course. Many students from this institute has received loan for the same course. But with deep regret I want to say that I have been dishearten by the attitude of the staffs related to loan department of Darbhanga branch. From the last six month they are delaying & delaying without any proper reason. Everyday they ask for new documents. Sometimes they ask to bring the student and sometimes they ask for the copy PNB circular for the final approval of loan. I have submitted all the necessary documents required for the loan. But finally they have not approved my loan till today without giving me any information. Please help me.

                          I have transfered Rs. 6000 ICICI Bank to PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK with RBI Reference No.[protected].
                          ICICI said fund has been successfully our side. PNB said return fund this RBI Reference No.[protected] and A/C no.[protected] is not exist of PNB. I have very sad both response because any one are not helping me.
                          I have lot of calls(more then 100) called ICICI bank call center [protected] and PNB house Mumbai[protected] and[protected], also sent fax PNB house[protected].I have meet pesonal both bank branch.but any one not given result. I had called PNB house[protected] previews monday at 2.00PM they said "we are refund your amount today" but not transfer then I had again called last Friday at 12.30 pm.They said "we are refund your amount today" but I have not got.Realy very bad people of PNB.They are not recieving call if receive call then waiting and waiting. I have lose Rs.500 only in call.

                            My sister was preparing for bank exam she want to fill the application form for punjab natase ional bank than I took Online Information from the website of PNB. and According the information I Desposited the cash amount rs in 300 in PNB (Branch Govindpura Bhopal) at 29/Jun/2009 after taking TransactionId I trying for Online Registration But Every Time Message come server not connected or server down 30/jun is last date of online registration and still server down near about 20, 000 thousand student is strugling for this type of problem they goto to internet cafe and try to registration again and again so they are also wasting money in internet cafe It is very serious problem Bank and other corporate earn lot of from students who is looking for job

                            I am one of your mayur vihar phase-111 PNB branch customers. I have opended my account in your bank for good services but what i find there, there are only three member in this branch one is casher peon, branch manager and another is two madam one is alwasy absent, last one week this branch printer is out of service but at this point of time the printer is not correct and in only one counter cash deposit and cash withdrawal in same counter a long queue is always there, the behaviour is not good so how can you provide a good service to your customer, i think the private bank is better then your bank. because they provide good service in behalf of they charges some extra money that does't matter. In this fastes age no one can wait in a long queue. I think there job is fixed that's the big issue.

                                  1. I wanted to get Rs. 10, 000 from Punjab National Bank ATM on 09 june 2009, but it didn't paid me the money instead it debited the same amount from account. Finally I lodged the complaint in their call centre and they assured me that I will get the same within 12 days but today is 15th day and I have not been credited with the amount even after repeated reminder to them.

                                  2. I again called up thier call centre and came to know that complaint lodged earlier is not valid and they told me to launch the complaint again. Its becomint too much for me as it is not a small amount and i am in derth need.

                                  1. I wanted to get Rs 1000/- from Punjab National Bank having an savings account with an account no. [protected] and ATM card no. [protected]. For a purpose i inserted a ATM card in Union Bank of India on 25 june 2009 at 11:52 am venued at Agri.Market yard, Pune.

                                  3. I had lodge a complaint into my account holding PNB branch on 25 june 2009. It was told by them that the complaint will be processed within 8-10 days but there is no response yet.

                                    Recently I have purchased a property which have been seized by Allahabad bank.I wish to make my residence in that property, so applied for home-loan from Punjab National bank.I have shown all papers and punjab national bank say that they can approve my loan and fulfilling some formalities(like valuation, search from there own engineers/lawyers).After spending money and 10 days of time for valuation and search and after completing all formatlities they say that they cannot approve loan because it is commercial property.
                                    if they know they cannot approve loan, why they have said in the first phase and i want loan to make my home, and not for any commerial purpose.

                                        I have made NEFT on15th June to be PNB Account No. [protected]. But still today it has not been credited in my PNB A/c. I have talked to PNB service centre and got the reply to talk to SBI. When I have talked to SBI and they are saying that RBI regulated this and they can not do anything, Please arrange to rectify the problem in this regard for which I shall be very much thankful to you.

                                        I am having PNB a/c no. [protected] in ASANSOL Branch, WEST BENGAL, I have transferred Rs.49000/- from my PNB a/c to SBI a/c. no. [protected] through NEFT on monday dtd.14/12/09 at 6:00 a.m. But yet not received this amount in my SBI a/c. I have come to know from SBI, Asansol branch that the server problem is going on so this transaction is being delayed. But Sir, Since alomost two days is over and I did not get this money in my SBI a/c. Sir, I always make a call to SBI, Asansol branch and get the same answer that Server problem is going on. Plz help me on this issue. Reference no. is given below for transaction.

                                        I am facing this also. The amount I transfered is deducted from my SBI account. And not yet be credited on Federal bank Account. Can you say how much time you took to correct the problem?
