[Resolved] Punjab National Bank [PNB] — delay in saving account closure | |||
I have a saving account in Punjab national Bank, SHAHDARA branch. I submitted the documents and request to close my account (a/c no. ending with 373409) on 7th Jun. I was asked to visit bank on 12th Jun t collect the DD. I told them that as I have shifted to other state I can't come again, and requested for a NEFT transfer. I was denied stating that's not possible, but bank will send the DD to my place trough courier. I had left my corresponding address as required with the branch manager. Till date I haven't heard back. I called customer care and they suggested to contact the branch. The numbers shared by customer care don't work. The email I'd shared doesn't get any response. Finally I wrote a complaint email on 28th June. Except acknowledge and assurance no action has been taken. Attaching the snapshot of the last email communication. Nov 7, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved Finally after 2 months I have received the DD and account is closed now. Punjab National Bank [PNB] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
