Punjab State Power Corporation [PSPCL] — complaint regarding high tension electric wires over my terrace posing serious risk to life and property

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a serious safety hazard concerning high-tension electric wires passing directly over the terrace of my residential property located at Dhir Road, Near Golden Palm Resort, Batala, Gurdaspur -143507, Punjab.
These high-tension wires are dangerously close to the structure of my house and run directly above the terrace, creating a constant risk of electrocution, fire, and other accidents. This issue is causing immense concern and fear for the safety of my family, especially for children and elderly members who use the terrace for daily activities like drying clothes, cleaning, and leisure.
Due to their dangerously low height and proximity, any accidental contact with these wires, especially during rainy or stormy weather, can result in fatal consequences. It is also a direct violation of safety norms laid down by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and other regulatory authorities, which require a minimum clearance distance between high-tension lines and residential buildings.
I request the department to conduct an immediate site inspection and take corrective action at the earliest. Possible solutions could include:
* Raising the height of the wires to meet safety clearance norms
* Rerouting the wires away from residential structures
* Installing proper insulation or protective barriers where needed
Despite several verbal complaints and follow-ups (if applicable), no concrete action has been taken so far. I am now compelled to submit this written complaint for official record and necessary action.

I sincerely hope you understand the gravity of this issue and take urgent steps to resolve it. Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and inform me about the steps being taken to address the matter. I am also keeping a copy of this letter for my records and, if needed, will escalate this matter to higher authorities or consumer grievance redressal forums.
